Cookie Policy

Last updated 8 August 2026. Version 1.0.

Phase+ uses very few cookies, and none for advertising. This page lists every one of them, plus the browser storage that is not technically a cookie but deserves the same honesty. Nothing that needs your permission runs before you give it.

What a cookie is here

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. Phase+ also uses local storage, which does the same job with a different mechanism, so it is listed here too rather than hidden behind a technicality.

Strictly necessary, always on

These make the product work at all. Under Spanish and EU rules they do not require consent, because without them there is no service. They cannot be switched off from inside Phase+, only by clearing your browser storage, which will sign you out.

NameTypeWhat it doesLasts
sb-…-auth-token Local storage Keeps you signed in. This is your session. Set by Supabase, the sign-in provider. Until you sign out
phase-theme Local storage Remembers whether you chose light, dark, or system appearance, so the app does not flash the wrong one on load. Until you clear it
phase-cookie-consent Local storage Remembers your answer to the cookie banner. Ironic but necessary: without it you would be asked on every page. 6 months
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid Cookie Set by Stripe on the checkout page only, to detect payment fraud. Only appear if you go to checkout. 1 year / 30 minutes

Analytics, only if you accept

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics runs on the public pages so we can see which ones bring people in and which lose them. If you decline, or ignore the banner, none of these are set and no analytics request is sent at all. It is not a case of setting them anyway and promising not to look.

NameSet byWhat it doesLasts
_ga Google Analytics Tells one returning visitor from another, so a person who visits twice is not counted as 2 people 2 years
_ga_… Google Analytics Keeps the state of the current visit 2 years

Two limits worth stating. Analytics runs on the public pages only, so it is never loaded inside the app and cannot see anything you logged: not a meal, not a weight, not a cycle date. And IP addresses are anonymised before Google stores them.

Inside the app there is no Google Analytics, no advertising network and no tracker of any kind. The services that process your data to make Phase+ work are listed in the privacy policy. Phase+ does keep its own record of which screens you opened and whether a log attempt worked, so the parts people get stuck on can be found and fixed. That record sets no cookie, leaves no identifier behind on your device beyond the sign-in you already have, is never sent anywhere else, and holds the shape of the action rather than its content. It is described in full in the Privacy Policy.

What Phase+ does not use

Changing your mind

Your choice is remembered for 6 months, after which you will be asked again. To change it before then, use the button below. Declining removes the analytics cookies as well as stopping new ones.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge alike. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will sign you out and keep signing you out.
